Round The World and other travels

Probably the best Crowne Plaza room I have ever stayed in, this came close to qualifying as a Junior Suite! What made it a bit ironic was the apology from the check-in agent : she felt she should be providing me with an upgrade as a PC Platinum, but was unable to do so because the hotel was full. The room had a view of the Petronas Twin Towers, a ten-minute walk away. An unusual feature was provided by the sliding louvre screens beside the bath, which could be opened to give the bather a view of the rest of the room (and vice versa!)
