Hotel 10

Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa, Oak Creek Village

The first thing to point out about this hotel is that it is not actually in Sedona, but rather in Oak Creek Village, a few miles south of Sedona. None of this is a problem to anyone who has a car, and it's difficult to imagine anyone arriving here without one, although Sedona does have its own small airport. After a couple of weeks in motel-type accommodation, it was nice to return to a full service Hilton, and this was a most attractive property. It had a large spa facility, which I didn't use, and was situated next to a classy-looking golf club, which I also didn't use.

I was thrilled with my one-bedroom suite, which seemed like the height of luxury after nearly two weeks on the road. The breakfasts were enjoyable, consisting of a relatively limited buffet and an extensive range of à la carte items. I used room service for dinner on both nights and thought that the quality of the food was excellent. Surprisingly, the laundry service was really cheap and represented amazingly good value for money.

Overall, highly recommended!
